Hello! My name is Carlie Ott. I am an individual that has always been in love with air travel, and was on my first plane when I was less than a year old. As a thrill seeker, the departure from the ground, and descent to earth has always fascinated me. However, as everyone knows, the descent can take place unexpectedly.

My mother is Carrie Ott, the passenger whose tale is followed within "Landing in a Rice Field". Instead of scaring me, the events have only increased my fascination. I write not to frighten people as they fly, but to remind others of that many pilots have the best interests of everyone on board in mind, and to tell others what they can do to alleviate flying fears.
